Teaching Seminar Autumn: 2026

The seminar takes place on 30 september, 2026 from 12:00 - 15:30 in the Demant Hall at DTU Lyngby Campus

Learning unlocked - from teaching delivered to learning achieved

Teaching at DTU can be challenging. The competencies expected of future engineers are changing: students need strong disciplinary knowledge, but also the ability to apply it, work with uncertainty, collaborate, use AI responsibly and keep learning as technology and work change.

We are pleased to invite you to our Teaching Seminar, where we explore designing teaching practices as visible, meaningful and demonstrable learning that engages all students. In an interactive session, we will connect learning science, AI, engineering competencies and practical pedagogy, and invite participants to identify practices that can be scaled across DTU.

Join us for a day of new perspectives, inspiration and engaging discussions led by Bo Stjerne Thomsen, Adjunct Professor at DTU Entrepreneurship and Head of Educational Impact at LEGO Education.

The programme is still being developed, but the date is set, so be sure to mark your calendar. More information will follow.

Date & time: 30 September 2026, 12.00 - 15.30
