Biennial on distance and online teaching and learning at DTU

The outbreak of Covid19 has given online and distance teaching and learning a central position in Higher Education in general. DTU faculty have gained a lot of experience during the spring semester of 2020 and to utilize this new knowledge the Deans invite you to participate in presentations, discussions and knowledge sharing at this year’s Teaching Biennial on online - and distance teaching and learning on December 11.

At the Biennial, faculty from various institutes at DTU will present cases from their teaching and the Deans will set the stage by giving a speech on the overall experiences with online teaching and learning during the spring semester. Among other things, the speech will draw on findings from questionnaire surveys answered by teachers and students at DTU.

Time and place
December 11, 2020, 9-13 am in Building 303A. (Due to Corona restrictions, it may be necessary to hold the biennial online. Information about this will be communicated to all registered as well as via Inside)

The detailed program is yet to be determined, but you can look forward to case presentations on new and effective tools and methods for distance - and online teaching, the pedagogy of the digital classroom and how we approach teaching and learning when students and teachers are not present in the same place or at the same time.

Do not miss this opportunity to discuss the rewards and challenges of distance - and online teaching and learning, and bring home inspiration and new ideas for your own teaching.
